The research structure of Lao folk tales is an analysis of the title components and the content components of 34 Lao folk tales. The study method is a qualitative study based on the theory of literary structure. The results of the research are as follows: The analysis of the title components of Lao folk tales found that 34 Lao folk tales have 3 important title components: component based on the supernatural, component based on the specific characteristics of the characters, and component based on the specific names of the characters. The analysis of the plot components of Lao folk tales found that 34 Lao folk tales there are 3 important plot components: the beginning part, the content part, and the conclusion part. In total, The research structure of Lao folk tales through the title components and content components 34 tales found 6 plot components in Lao folk tales. These parts are closely related and cannot be separated from each other.
