Abstract (English)
This single-group experimental research aimed to investigate the learning achievement and satisfaction of continuous pre-service geography students (Year 1, Class A) toward the teaching and learning of Meteorology by utilizing a blended instruction approach (Lecture combined with Cooperative Learning). The sample consisted of 19 students at Salavan Teacher Training College during the 2023-2024 academic year. Research instruments included 7 lesson plans, a pre- and post-test, and a 5-level satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used include: percentage, mean (average), and effectiveness index. Research Findings: Learning Achievement: Students showed a marked improvement in learning outcomes after the intervention. Before Instruction (Pre-test): 52.63% of students were categorized as failing. After Instruction (Post-test): The average score increased significantly from 53.16 (pre-test) to 83.68 (post-test). The analysis showed that 47.37% of students achieved an Excellent level, and no students failed the post-test. The learning effectiveness index (E.I) was 0.78, confirming the high effectiveness of the teaching method used. Student Satisfaction: Students reported a Very High level of satisfaction with the teaching and learning management, with an overall mean score of x ̅ = 4.71 (SD = 0.42). The aspect of the teacher's measurement and evaluation received the highest satisfaction (x ̅ = 4.84), while the aspect of organizing learning activities received the lowest satisfaction (x ̅ = 4.50).
