Abstract (English)

This research investigated the use of activities in teaching and learning Grammar 3 at Champasak Buddhist Teacher Training College, Champasak Province, during the 2022-2023 academic year. The study focused on two main aspects: the organization of teaching and learning activities, and the evaluation of teaching and learning. The sample group, determined using the Krejcie and Morgan sampling method, consisted of 2 directors, 4 teachers, and 22 students. The primary research instrument was a 5-level standard questionnaire comprising 22 questions. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tables to determine percentages and averages. The research results were found as follows:In terms of teaching and learning activities: The overall opinion regarding the teachers' organization of learning activities was at a high level ($\overline{X}=3.57$). This indicates that students are actively involved and committed to their learning, and that teachers are receptive to diverse student perspectives. To maintain engaging and enjoyable learning environments, teachers must continuously develop diverse teaching methods and activities. In terms of the evaluation of teaching and learning: The overall opinion concerning evaluation by both teachers and students was also at a high level ($\overline{X}=3.95$). This demonstrates that the evaluation methods align well with the curriculum. Furthermore, teachers regularly reviewed previous lessons before introducing new topics. The findings suggest that teachers should incorporate a wider variety of exercises and assignments during their instruction.Overall, the integration of activities in teaching and learning Grammar 3 for second-year English teacher trainees at Champasak Buddhist Teacher Training College was highly effective in terms of both activity organization and evaluation. Students actively participated in diverse learning and assessment activities, and teachers successfully created opportunities for students to express their opinions. However, as some activities lacked appeal or enjoyment for students, it is recommended that teachers continue to diversify their instructional methods and activities to sustain student interest and enhance overall teaching and learning effectiveness.
